「南加」室內合唱隊今年七月前往日本參加靜岡市所舉辦的「第十一屆國際青少年音樂節」。此文化交流音樂盛會由Tokoha Gakuen Educational Institute 及靜岡市共同主辦，並免費提供給所有團員們八天在「音樂節」參加演出的所有費用。由於代表隊所擁有的兼容東西方氣質特色及在和聲、音質、音樂性及曲目安排等的優異表現，因此，該隊能從世界各地參加申請的三十多隊國際青少年音樂團體脫穎而出，榮膺成為被甄選的三隊合唱團之一。在音樂節中，團員們將與從日本、瑞典、蘇俄、紐西蘭、捷克及意大利而來的合唱團、樂隊共同演出。

This July, our Chamber Choir was invited to participate in the music culture event “11^th Japan International Youth Musicale” which was sponsored by Tokoha Gakuen Educational Institute and Shizuoka City.  Our choir was offered the complimentary packages to waive all expenses during our eight days stay in the festival.  Our children have proven their excellence to enter the event through the capability of interpreting the music of both East and West, the beautiful harmony, colorful tone quality, sensitive musicality, and the exciting and versatile programs.  Seven groups (three youth choruses and four instrumental groups) out of the 30+ applications from all over the world have qualified, and we are proud to be one of the three choruses.  In this festival, the youngsters shared mutual understanding and friendship with their contemporaries from Japan, Sweden, Russia, New Zealand, Czech Republic, and Italy through music activities.  They have brought home unforgettable experiences and beautiful memories.
